[GERMAN VERSION]

On monday, the 28th of September 2009 the German Museum of moving images in Frankfurt set the scenery for first Cloudcamp in Frankfurt. Despite some last-minute challenges, the second german Cloudcamp was a big success and we are sure that it helped to enlarge the Cloudcamp Community in Germany. We also do believe that we enriched the discussion about Cloud Computing in Germany.

More than 150 attendees from different industries and levels made the Cloudcamp, which took place in an very unusuall environment, an great networking event with very excited discussions.

Cloudcamp Frankfurt presented the hottest IT topic today within a special scenery: Movie industry exhibits from the last century framed an interestingly mixed audience, with geeks sitting side-by-side with CEO’s and Cloud experts sitting side-by-side with people who wanted to learn what cloud computing is about. These contrasts fueled the discussions and it was highly interesting to see, how different ‘world’ were converging.

We say ‘thank you’ to the sponsors, who provided the financial backround for the event and to the great lineup of high level speakers, who provided not only interesting Lightning Talks to fuel the discussions with the audience, but actively entered the Un-panel discussion and the workshops and answered a lot of questions from the audience

We shared the slides at Slideshare.net <LINK> and pictures at FlickR <LINK>. The videos of the lightning talks can be found on Youtube-Channel <LINK>.

We are looking forward to the next Cloudcamp in Frankfurt.
